Your opinion please

Opinions are like noses, everybody has one and they are all different. I would like to pick your opinion on which you would choose for the same price- an SMX ibex nearly new or a two year old aluminum rail Ibex with the disipator bars on front. Both look new. Which would you choose and why. Thanks

My choice would be the Alum. model, i have always preferr the old style & i am not a new age person

I have a alum. Axiom my hunting partner has a SMF Axiom they both shoot the same . His was around $100 less ,so if your choices are the same price I would say the alum. is the better buy.

the axiom i have is the smf, shots great. had no problems what so ever. must have over 1000 shots on it.(and 2or 3or4) dry fires. would not hesitate to get another one. good luck.

Not at all. Even though the aluminum is older It is more expensive and the warranty is the same.

Man jus asked what n why we chose the models we did. Have nutten fer or against the space age plastic models. Alot of us jus preferr alum. I started wid alum. rails many yrs ago & spect thats what i will keep paying my samolians on

Both are excellent bows but I would go aluminum for the same reason.

The Ibex SMF was my first crossbow. I got another, a Vortex so my dad could shoot with me, from the bargain cave at cabelas. I thought I'd like the aluminum rail more, but I prefer the SMF.
