Hi from the UK

Post by mikel »

Hi to you all, just found you.hunting with a Xbow is not allowed in uk,but have a farm in france(top of loire valley)wild boar n roe deer, also vist croatia, shooting wild boar.usually with a rifle but intent this year to take Xbow, for controlling the squweeller, dont feel confident to take on the keillers,as yet.let the 45/70 or 12g
slug do that.

Welcome to the forum.
Yes they are very open minded, you can hunt them with a spear,(driven passed platforms)if its your thing.swords for finishing them,Trumpet/horns played to respect n honour the game.
I only get the odd roe deer on our few acres.have to go down loire valley, for boar.
Have been getting some boar nearby, but as they are a pest.the mayor/council, of areas
grant an open "Two weeks",to take care of the problem,ie,access all areas, freely.with out any restrictions.etc.You do require a hunting licence n the french hunters have to take an exam.etc.
PS. have found out via a croatian shooter on here ,unfortunatly hunting in Croatia, with a xbow is not allowed, although the are allowed xbows, only other restriction is they have to inform police if pull over 150lbs.
