New Crossbow.....Choice?

Hi All,

Well I don't post on here much, I do read many posts. Got a question for y'all. To make a long story short, my car was stolen two weeks ago and in it was my garage door opener(i know, don't leave it in car). Anyway all my crossbow stuff was stolen including my brand new Axiom and about $700 worth of other stuff (broadheads, arrows, soft case, etc). I have renters insurance, and it is all covered so I will be replacing everything. I never had a chance to hunt with the Axiom, but I liked it. The Ibex also caught my eye, it appears about an inch shorter (I am short so that is good), but besides the stock difference, it seems similar. Is there anything that I am missing besides those items?

The Ibex is a thumb hole stock, the Axiom is traditional.

They should be real close to each other. I have the axiom also and my next one will not have the plastic/ fiber rail. It hasn't been a problem, just don't like the looks is all.

my first bow was an axiom, very nice bow. no problems at all. still have it. just got my vortex just before x-mas. sweeeeeeet bow. i love it. i shot a vortex at boofest and loved the feel of the thumb-hole stock. and have no problem with taking off the safety. you should go and hold and shot afew to get a better idea. good luck.

I have a Ibex & exomax I like the Ibex the best both are alu rails.

Hey Jake, Texas here too (north east). If you haven't yet, try to shoot a Matrix 355. I have an Ibex SMX and a 355. Love both, but the 355 is just a little bit sweeter and smaller and better balanced. Faster too. Looking forward to hunting season. Cheers

X2^ I have the 380 and its a beast, great bow but if I was doing it over Id go for the 355, a little tamer
