Rinehart RHINOBLOCK

Post by Lucky-Dog »

I have to get a new broadhead target.
Any bad reviews on this one or would it be a good investment ?
I don't mind paying a little more if there is a better one.
Thanks

:D i have not heard anything bad about them except the price of them. but if you add up all the targets you buy in a year or two times. it would be worth getting one. i have been looking at them pretty hard too lately.

no complaints about mine. Would suggest that you get a pair of Danny Miller arrow pulling pliers if you don't already have a pair.

Sounds like it would be a good choice. I was wondering about arrow removal.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Once it gets shot in a little bit the arrows pull easier and actually with BH's I never had a problem. The target is a little pricey, but you also get 6 different sides to shoot at.

So far my 18-1 has stood up to everything my crew and I have thrown at it. No matter what target you decide on, the "Danny Miller" pliers are a necessity.

Just picked up the rinehart 18-1 and used it this weekend. Seems like it will hold up and I like the warranty on it. Haven't shot it with broadheads yet though. I didn't find the arrows too difficult to pull by hand. The initial pull seems to resist you, then they just slid right out.

18x1 and Dannys pullers work great! the only problem i have is if you shoot alot with bh in same spot it does chew the target up!

I have the block and it's been great for years. I have yet to need a puller either. I love this thing!!!

just bought one. mine had a few marks on it. when they make them they will sell the "seconds" to archery warehouses to sell them for less. $180.00 target for $100.00 good deal...

Strange how I have read in different reviews where people say they have problems removing arrows from their Rinehart targets, my field points come out with only a small amount of muscle, and very easily when using broadheads. The trick with broadheads I believe is giving them a slight twist before pulling.

Now that being said i did notice the blades on my X-act broadheads getting bent out of shape after shooting into my block, but as this is the only target I have ever used I cannot compare it to any other target.

It really depends on the type of head you plan to shoot into them. If you plan to shoot mechanicals with aluminum ferruls, the rinehart targets tend to be hard and them and will bend them. If you shoot G5T3 broadheads they will be nearly impossible to get out since they are barbed.

All of this sounds like great news.
Just ordered the RhinoBlock from Wyverns today.
I plan to keep shooting the Montec CS so I hope they don't give me too much trouble.
Im glad to hear all the great reviews. It makes a person feel better about the purchase they made.
Thanks
