I started doing it the old way of using the Img button above . . .I'm go into photobucket and do what Vix says . . .

Anyway, if you can't get it to work, then you need to copy the direct link, click the Img button, then paste your link, then click Img again.

I tried that Vix and at the top of the attempt at posting it, I get an error message . . . "You can not use certain BBCodes:[url].

Maybe I'm doing something different . . .I'll try again . . .

Sumner - interesting. I wonder what is making the difference. Have you refreshed your browser?

Or it might be that it works different in various browsers? (I'm currently running Google Chrome.)

Also are you clicking on the actual words "IMG Code" or are you copying and pasting the actual link displayed below it? I was clicking the "IMG code" and it did the copying for me.

I need to get this figured out or I won't be able to sleep tonight!

It's copying just fine, but, when I try to paste it, I get the error code . . .the old way works . . .not sure what happened. I'm using Internet Explorer.

I hate to ask a stupid question, but .... did you "save" after changing the settings? (please don't hate me!)

When using the above option, then paste directly into your post window.

If you choose to use the image button on the forum then this is what comes up when you click on the image button on the forum.

img in brackets and /img in brackets.

When you use the img button in the forum, then you must use the {direct link} from photobucket and paste it between the brackets.

Also remember that photobucket copies automatically when you left click on an option.

Just a side note......Ive been using imgur.com for awhile now to upload pictures to forums. You dont have to log in or anything. Just upload the pictures and copy the codes.

Sumner, I had the same note about the URL problem. What I did was, on your screen you will notice the letters "URL" tacked on to the end of one of the statements, simply place your cursor at the end of that phrase and delete the letters with backspace then re-preview it.

You can not use certain BB codes [url] in red ink.
I am not sure what the problem is as I use the Photobucket App not the website and all I do it click to copy the Img link and paste it where I want it.

I GOT IT! Had the computer geek over and here is the problem. Excalibur disablied the URL code.

To fix this go to the your gallery. Click on a photo and it enlarges. On the righ side click on (go to link options). Turn off (easy link mode) and turn off (back to albums.

Should have added that now you can go to gallery and click on the pic then go the right side both and click on img and it copies just like old times. Sweeeeet.

WaaaLaaaa! The Geek has left so all questions will not be answered. :D

Good luck everyone!
