String & Serving Wax

Post by sbox »

Newby here..I just received some new "standard" strings for our Excalibur Exocet from Danny Miller. (Wow fast service and great price) and now I need to find out how best to take care of the string.
String
I've been reading through a bunch of posts on here and assume I'm ok to use the same wax on the crossbow string that I use on my compound string (Bohning seal tight- Green Tube) . Is that correct?

ServingWhat about the serving? Can I use this same stuff on the serving. I forgot to ask Mr Miller when I was ordering them. The Bohning seal tight is soft, silicone nwax and should absorb into the string serving quite well.

Is there a better stuff out there that you all are using? I see the stuff that Excalibur sells but if this will work and just a good I want to use what I have.

I also bought a top mount Quiver mount from Mr Miller that I love.

Thank you. sb
