For the cost/quality and weight the Rifleman Ring series from Leupold is hard to beat and I own many sets in 1". Although I have yet to purchase a 30mm split ring set I may suggest looking at these. I am planning on a set myself before hunting season.

This is what I put on my wife's Vixen with the Tact Zone they are holding up quite well and didn't break the bank.

I'll be trying out the new Hawke 30mm 1.5-5 x 32 Scope as soon as it becomes available (later this month). VERY Much like the ranging reticles in this one:

May change the rings to accommodate but have yet to decide which way to go in that direction...

Let you know as it goes...

If you are looking for new 30mm rings to mount the Tact-Zone scope. I suggest Leupold rifleman vertical split 30mm medium matte finish rings.

I use Leupold rifleman detachable low matte finish rings on my Equinox for low mounting my Leupold VX-I 2-7x33mm NWTF edition scope in dark earth color.
