Thank you all. This has been quite an experience so far.
My writing skills would be called weak at best, so trying to do a story for a magazine was difficult for me.

This story could surface again, Ont. Monster Whitetail
Magazine wants to do a story also.

Congrats Roly! I too had a fortunate experience to write an article for Crossbow Magazine. ("Like Father Like Son" - Jan 2012, I think?) Like you (I assume it was your first time), it wasn't easy. Keeping it to a certain number of words, wanted to make sure my grammar was correct, the story made sense, etc. It was an awesome experience though. Although I doubt it will happen again anytime soon, I'd do it again in a heartbeat! :D

Congrats Rick, I have yet to read your article though, but I will and am looking forward to reading it. Don, aka Boo is sending me a copy of the magazine so I can read your article. So thanks to Don I will be able to read your article and thanks to you for writing it.
One of these days soon I am going to subscribe to the magazine. I went and checked out the website and subscription price and and i was figuring the cost would be a lot more but it is fairly reasonable.I have it at the top of my want list now, so sometime soon as I can I will subscribe to it myself.
Thanks folks,
Raymond.

Way to go Rick!!!!

Unlike most of these guys I had the privilege of putting my hands on this exceptional trophy (when I scored it), and its truly outstanding. If it hadn't grown either of its small stickers, it would have qualified for Boone and Crockett.

I'll see if I can find Crossbow mag, but in any case I'll look forward to reading your story in OMW.
I hunt, therefore I am.
