I use to build my own , but can not build them for the price they sell for . All hardware and a safety harness . Secondly unless you are a very experienced welder you may well put your life in jepordy using a home made ladder .

I built one that's not quite that tall but works pretty good. I added a side table on my left side with a quiver mount bracket attached to it and a bow hanger on my right side. I will see if I can come up with a pic or two to post.

The side table is really handy for keeping a few items close by and ready to use. :)

Took me awhile to figure out my photobucket but here is a pic of the ladder stand I made. It's a bit small but it shows the shelf on my left and my trusty Vortex hanging on my right.
