Need Some Help
Alright guys, here we go again. This is gonna be a two if not 3 parter. I need as much advice as I can get, and yes I did do a pretty thorough search of the forum. There is so much information on here it's hard to find what you need sometimes. I already looked for about 2 hours before I decided to make this post. I'd prefer not to spend too much money on this stuff. The best performing out of the cheapest is preferred. I'm shooting a 2012 Axiom with S5, munch mount, FFF, and currently a zero zone scope.
So I used up all but 1 of my fire-bolts that came with the bow. I want to buy about 6 bolts that don't cost 100 bucks. I would like 20" flat nocks that come with everything on them. I don't need lumenoks or anything fancy but I do want to take it a step up from the fire-bolts. I'd also like to have the best input on veins (Blazer?? does anyone sell them already fletched??) but keep in mind I don't want or have the equipment/time to do them myself. I like the carbon bolts but I do want to increase my weight. I just read that thread on the benefits of shooting higher grain. Id like to be around 450-500 grains (if that's reasonable?? maybe more or less??) when all is said and done, including 100 grain broad heads (currently spitfire maxx). Willing to go with a heavier fixed blade if my arrows require it. If that makes sense Also, I doubt i would ever take a shot on a deer over 30 yards.
I'm about tired of the chevrons on my axiom, plus I keep switching the arrow/bh weights around so it doesn't shoot as accurately as I think it could if I had one of the scopes with variable speeds. Below are some options I was considering with the link to Amazon. I get free shipping on most stuff with my prime membership, plus they always get it to me in 2-3 days. More than willing to take recommendations!
Thank you all very much in advance. I know Ill be getting some very informative replies.
I want to put orders on this stuff and get it by the end of the week so I can get everything sorted before seasons starts on Sept 6th.

Natchez, 800-251-7839, has refurbished Nikon Bolt Xr scopes for $99.99.
I have found that for me the Firebolts are equal to the BEEs and Carbon Express arrows BUT I only use them for hunting.

Vari-zone does what the ads say. I recently got a dozen BEE from Jerry at Southshore archery and am impressed. Each arrow is indexed and numbered.
I got 2" Blazers, 92 gr inserts [110 gr avail] w/ 100 gr points, they are at 400 gr. Fast service..........

Does arrow diameter make any difference for excal? Is there a min and max?
What about the red hots by parker?
Does anyone shoot em out of their excal? Does anyone have any problem with the fletching rubbing on the inner rail?
Im also looking at GT laser II. Does anyone know where I can get them with better vanes already glued on?
Any nock recommendations? Im not sure if they come with flat nocks. Should I get aluminum or what material nocks?

Re: Need Some Help
I need a link to arrows online that have good vanes and inserts already installed with flat nocks.
All respect o Danny Miller and Wyvern Creations but i'm simply looking to add to cart and then checkout. I have a lot going on that I don't really want to go through any process.

Re: Need Some Help
Big John on the trading post will make you anything you want.
Black Eagle Archery will make them fletched with Blazers and flat nocks
I bought some GT Laser 4's at Bass Pro. They do not have Blazers, but shot well with the 4" vanes they had on them. I am shooting them with 150gr Slick Tricks for a total wt. of ~525gr.
The Arizona EZ Fletch Bolt is inexpensive, and fletching with it is really simple. Takes 5 min an arrow. Just throwing that out there.
What I like about it, is the helical fletch you get. CE makes arrows with Blazers, but they are straight fletched and IMO do not provide enough BH stabilization.
Bohning also makes a "Blazer Quick Fletch" that is shrink wrap you dip in water, but again not sure if you get the helical.

Simply looking to add to cart and check out will cost you more in time than $. Mebbe the $ too, depends.

Thank you very much for the replies.
Has anyone used the parker red hots? They seem like a sweet set-up.
Also, whatever happened to that speed chart that showed bow speeds of excals with dif grains?
