I'm thinking on going to africa with crossbow on a safari Hunting trip .It was just brought up today by a friend who want's to go.Got some planning before we go .Hope it work's out and too have fun there.
Have any of you's been to Africa Hunting?
What should i expect .
He has family in cape town.

Cape Town is a beautiful place . In South Africa it is high fence hunting , if that is your thing then you will have a blast .

Namibia is where i want to hunt ,open range no fence, All natural .Ive checked on some places ..125k acres they have .

13 day minium with trophy fee's and taxes and tip,s .Fully guided with tracker and so on .
I figure $1000.00 a day is average for what i want to do .I talked with philepe today .he is in califorina now .

Im actually trying to get a buddy to go with me also .He said he was broke .I said ill pay ,you just pay me back ,just to get him to go.Ill find someone to go with soon.I want to go before end of this 2013.
The problem is most folk's can't go cause of work ,Ill go in a minute's notice with no thinking about it ,just git up and go once i get everything to go in africa.

My father use to take me as a teenager back in the day ,But he is to old to go now he say's .I wish he would go ,but no go for my pop's.

This is what i found
Hunting with a crossbow is legal in South Africa and most outfitters here welcome them providing the client is proficient with it as with any bow for that matter.
