I sighted in my new Matrix 355. No complaints on accuracy, clusters the arrows all the way out to 50yds. Also, I was impressed with how well the Tract-zone scope is calibrated. Sighted in at 20yds and it was pretty much dead on at 30 & 40 and good enough at 50 to still hit the kill zone of a deer. This weekend I will be going out to 60yds.
Over the chrony it shot 325fps with the Diablo arrow and 150gr FP.
A side note: My 175lb Exocet that I purchased used in 2004 did 289fps with Firebolt arrows and 150gr FP.
I see the specs on the Matrix 355 it is listed shooting the 355fps with a 350gr arrow.
What combination does Excalibur use for the 350gr weight? How much does the Diablo shaft weigh?
BTW, when I purchased the Matrix the dealer said I had to use the 150gr FP or blades when using the Diablo arrows.

The diablo's are 250 grain without the field point..They got the 355 speed with a hundred grain tip in it..You can shoot a 350 grain bolt from your 355 but thats the minimum weight..

Lake told you right, you can use 100gr tips but thats light for a hunting arrow. Your diablo arrows should weigh 400gr with the 150gr tips in them. The matrix's I had and 99% of everyone else I know that reported on them it fell short of the speed rating but 325fps is a little extra slow. Chrono's vary though so I would test through more than one. With that arrow you should be in the low 330's.
