String Cocker rope Matrix 355

Anybody here shorten up their rope cocker for this bow ?

I have on my other bows but the 355 worked fine for me. Maybe there not all the same lenth.

Gary, I shorten mine so I have to lift the string on my 355 2". Makes it much easier to cock.
Some people just like stepping on rakes

yes on my c2 cranker too much string makes its hard to control and get started cranking.

Stephanie, we are talking about the rope cocker with handles that you pull up on. You can just do some cranking with the ratchet engaged or give one side a winding or two to lessen the amount of spooled out rope,

yes i know.
but same thing if its too long its hard to work or get started if no tention.
on any cocking device.
i think anyway.

Ive been using the one that came with my Equinox or my Phoenix for my 380, no need to pull up on the string to hook up, wrote to Exclal but Peter B says it is due to "higher draw weights and shorter stroke". Works for me thats all I can confirm.
