What have you found that shoots good and is effective?I'll primarilly be using them for the odd bunny and ruffed grouse.

Try a field point with a washer behind it.
Works well for traditional bows
and should work well for xbows----and the washer helps stop the arrow from hiding after the shot.

The washer trick works. I have used a arrow set up like that several times. Works good with aluminum arrows I never tried it with a carbon one.

I like the zwickey grapplers, if nothing else, they help keep an arrow from getting lost in brush and grass.
I shot a squirrel with one of those big rubber tips that slide over a broadhead, that thing passed clean through the squirrel. I remember seeing light through the poor bugger before he fell.

I've had luck with Muzzy Grasshoppers behind broadheads for turkeys, should work well with field points for smaller critters.

Thanks all for the replies. Those Judo points look interesting but in the video Dereck linked to it was stated a head shot was necessary. Thats a tall order on a bunny or grouse,at least for me. :)

I might give the washer /field point combo a try.The price is certainly right.

Redneck thanks for the warning,if I encounter any big white bunnies like those,I'll just smile and wave ,then quickly move on.

Or you could also use a wingnut placed wings forward with a bolt to hold it on.
also very devastating.

Has any one tried the washer trick with a carbon arrow? I know it works good with a aluminum arrow. I just do not want to mess up a carbon arrow if it puts too much force on the front of the arrow. Not at 8 dollars a pop. I am using carbons with capture nocks.

I gave up on Judo points the wires get messed up after a few shots and they are not cheap to replace.

Here are a few that I use, the Zwickey (far left) is my favourite. It works like a friction brake on the shaft, sometimes prevents a pass through, and makes finding the arrow easier. Cheap, tough and so small that once you get it on to a field point, you do not have to adjust for the weight difference and POI.
I worry about the larger blunts putting too much stress on the shaft after contact, but they do work.

I use Adder points behind a field tip. The adder points run 25gr so I shoot 125 gr field tips to keep everything at 150gr
