That's some good data right there. My first impression based on a quick look - it doesn't matter too much what BH you use, if you hit 2 lungs that deer is going to go about 40 to 60 yards. With a few exceptions of course. Good stuff.

doe 25 yds went 70 yards button buck 15 yds dropped on the spot doe 17 yards dropped on the spot

This year: I killed a 3 pt buck last Sat that came in and stopped 5 yards from the base of my tree. That one was my first ever harvest with a vertical compound bow. :-) so a good season so far.

Last year, I killed a buck with my vortex at I recall 21 yards; and I sadly lost :( a doe that I'd hit (it got dark and started pouring rain, but still no excuse though) at about 25 yds.

All shot have been from tree stands between 20 and 30 ft up.

Hopefully I'll have a chance to press the vortex back into service soon to fill some doe tags and freezer space.

Doe 14 yds. watched go down 25 yds.
Buck 31 yds. recovered approx. 45 yds. from hit.
