Triggertech's newest offering

Post by Boo »

I was recently sent Triggertech's newest trigger for evaluation. It's result of requests from shooters that did not like the 2 stage action. This one has no pretravel. It breaks like a glass rod just like their other trigger units. At $129.95 you get a competition like trigger that breaks at 2.5 lbs.

The new trigger does not have a complex sear geometry. That pre-travel that exists in the 2 stage trigger is the part that takes more time during assembly and is more expensive to make.

Is the Matrix trigger assembly interchangeable with the other Excalibur crossbows, or are the different, stock or aftermarket?
