Cocking an Exomax in a "Doghouse" pop-up is a pain I promise!!! Cocking it normally is easy enough. Use a slightly shorter rope cocker, hook it on and stand up. Well.... cant stand up in pop-up and cant lean back much for the chair. Its pretty much all arm in there. It'll make you go shop for a Vixen, almost.

I did the same last week, climbed up a very crooked tree, only to look at my bow, uncocked.
I am getting better at it, and it is way easier when your not being watched. I bet it looks pretty humorous from the ground.

Ive had to cock my 380 in the stand by hand .believe me it's not easy .Dropped my crank at the time .I can cock it on the ground with no issues by using my hand;s only.So now i cock it on the ground before i get in my climber.

It happens to the best of us .

My Exomag was modified by Danny Miller to accept the accudraw 12 years ago. The accudraw was paid for by the good folks on this forum. I use a small cordless drill to cock my bow when I get into my ground blind so cocking my bow in a tree really isn't an option for this wore out man.
