Luminocks

Post by WithinMyRange »

Hi Guys,

A week or so ago I received a notice from Excalibur warning about luminocks.

I assume everyone got it, i can't locate it, does anyone have it or recall exactly what it said.

I recall something about string slippage over nocks and warranty warnings.

I just want to make sure I get the right nocks cuz I don't want to hurt my bow.

thanks
Jim

I purchased my arrows with the Luminocks already installed(3 Pack Fire Bolt Arrows). The first arrow I fired at a deer resulted in a semi dry fire. The arrow traveled a distance of 33 yards. When I recovered the arrow, the fletching was crimpled and the arrow was busted 3/4 down the shaft but still in one piece. The nock was lighted.I believe the semi dry fire was a result of the fletching not laying completely flat on the rail(cock feather higher than track).I checked my bow for damage but no damage found.I never did fire the other 2 arrows.
