I took my 380 down to my BIL's yesterday. They were all watching a game until after sundown but we then went outside to let him shoot it. He had never shot a crossbow but is an old hand at rifles and triggers.

It was so dark that he couldn't see the yellow bulls eyes on the target at 30 yards, so I told him to just aim at the center of the four corners. At the shot (standing, offhand) he thought he'd completely missed the target, but I heard it impact. We walked over there and the bolt was off course buried past the nock, with the broadhead sticking 2" out the back........... Dead freaking center side to side and 2" high of dead center!!!!

He was impressed to say the least! :D what a machine !!

The Matrix series took off mostly for its compact design. Speed is a deciding factor for some, but I shoot a 470 grain arrow out of my Matrix 355. This makes it easy on the limbs, but still delivers more than enough speed and energy. I don't have a chronogragh, but I am guessing I am getting approx 315 FPS.
