My Tact Zone scope bit the dust (literally) this morning. It was clear as a bell last night but this morning it started getting dark inside it while I was on stand. By the time I headed back to my vehicle it looked like it had mud on the front lens. I got a clean rag and some water at the truck and tried to clean the lens off.
Nope...
Whatever it is is inside of the scope. Looks like a lot of dust/mud inside the front lens. It is too dirty to see out of so I swapped scopes on my Vortex so I can still hunt.
I am in the USA. Do I call Danny about warranty or the new place they set up? I have Danny's number but if it needs to go to the new USA warranty center I need a name and number please.

I had the same problem with one of my tac-z's. It appears the little lock ring on the front lense vibrated loose and let the lense work forward to blurr everything. Sent that one back. I was afraid if it worked loose moisture would get in. Tightened the front ring on the others. So far so good. Cheers

danny was offering upgrades if you ask him and your interested.i upgraded one that crapped out of the 3 i have. love the size of the tactzone but its a finicky scope.

I have four hunting buddies that have had their tac scopes crap out on them ,they all went to the leoupold and are happy with their scopes.

Sorry your Tact-Zone scope failed. It sure was good you have another scope to swap with and didn't miss the hunt.
Call Danny Miller and I strongly suggest an upgrade to a Leupold.

Yep I was one of the folks that liked the tac zone..... Untill I looked thru it one day at a doe coming by and it was fogged up ! Needless to say I have a leupold on the way

I actually like the Tac zone but if it goes out I have already bought a Leupold heavy duplex shotgun scope as a backup. One of my friends Tac zone messed up also before season came in and Danny Miller fixed him up. He's the man to take care of our warranty issues and I have sent several people to him to buy Excal items including a new Matrix 355.

I decided to wait till after the first of the new year before contacting Danny as I had another scope to put on my Vortex. I do plan on discussing a swap with Danny for a Leopold and paying the difference. Need a few other items also. Does Danny carry a good serving aid for reserving strings?
