Like I said, Arkansas cold may not be way down around zero (much) but the relatively damp to freaking wet conditions with low forties to around freezing temps is bone chilling....... and even worse duck hunting!!!!
We lived in South Florida for 8 years and am glad to be outta there. From Thanksgiving to Easter, the population quadruples and most can't drive. Seemed there was a car in someone's pool every month. Right hand turns from the left lane are common. So is coming to a dead stop before turning into a parking lot. The best defensive driving tip I learned was watch for a Crown Victoria with handicap sign hanging from the rear view mirror and. a New Jersey license plate. Then GET AWAY!
