info on xbow camera mount-help please
I'd like to find a camera mount to fit on my 380 so I can set up my tiny camcorder. Possibly attached to the scope???? Thanks for any suggestions.

I mount Mr. Munch Camera mount a little different for my Gopro Cameras. I take the quiver off when shooting with camera. I like it there because I see the limbs a bit in bottom of picture.

I mounted mine to the original quiver bracket, rock solid and great point of view.

Nope all three of my Gopro's have been on my 212 1/2 pound Excalibur and one always stays on it. Never skips a beat. Wrangled with the Hockshop and got a Gopro2 for $75. So I wouldn't be out a whole whack of bucks anyhow. I still have a credit with Gopro also.

I have this for the gopro
its a mount for rollbars/handlebars but mounts on the back of the scope fairly decently. I have it flipped down towards me so that when a deer comes in I can reach the rec button easily, then just slowly tip the camera up into position, keeping all the cam controls close to me. Good video too, you are able to see the rail with arrow loaded. both limbs and a view of the deer.
this is a video of the cam/mount at work (if photobucket decides to work today)

Wow I can't believe you found a go pro for that price. They must have thought it was a toy or broken. I have been using the head mount for mine so it always records what I am looking at instead of only what I am pointing my gun or bow at. Also eliminates the recoil while helping to keep the bow simple and light. Just takes a bit of practice to make sure you hit the right bottons on your forehead.

Recoil is probably the least of our cameras concerns.Bullzeye wrote:None of you have had any problems with recoil damage to your cameras ??
My son sends it up on his kite a couple hundred feet off the ground, and he is not good at fastening it.
I mount it to the shotgun with the mount Neil posted, with many rounds through it.
It has fallen off the quad going down gravel roads, on more than one occasion, run over, dropped and beaten.
Worst case, you just buy a new box for it, and the camera is always new.
I do not know what makes it so durable, but so far we have not been able to break it, and we have tried.

Would love to have one but they are to pricey for my lint filled pockets, but you seem to get great quality and durability for the money.
