Has anyone experimented with arrows shorter than 18" and what was your evaluation?
If so would you recommend them for hunting as well?

Thanks

I shot some 16 " 2219 , They were buried past the vanes in the target , my 18 " go to the vanes . 20"stay a few inches from vanes . At 30 yards p.o.i didn't change more than an inch. But I will stay with 18" . they fly great and MY target will stop them.

I use 18" Easton 2219 aluminum shafts which are very accurate. Plus no fear of getting my foot under a forgotten broadhead tipped arrow when I de-cock after the hunt. This scenario can happen with shorter arrows.
