You couldn't cock it steroids or not, most likely blow up in trying to cock it

Has anyone tried bolting an older-style riser with limbs (like from a Phoenix) to a Matrix? If so, what hoops were jumped through, if any, and how was the result?

The hole spacing is different. It would be easier to have a Phoenix rail shortened by a machinists.

Here is a link to a modified Equinox

I had my Dad try to cock the beast back & it was a real struggle for him & I can't say I could do it with ease either.

So we decided to take the plunge & send it to Danny Miller for a modification. He removed 3 inches of rail from the front end. This reduced the power stroke from 16.5" to 13.5". Basically it will now have the same specs as a Vixen. This is plenty fast to take down Turkey's & deer!!

Yesterday the rail arrived back to me & I can't say enough about the great job his machinist did on the Mod. This thing cock's like a dream & will come in @ the same length as the Matrix 380.

Now I need to just top it off with a used scope & it will be good to go!!

That's too bad. I was hoping I could buy an old riser with limbs for use with my M380 and switch back and forth at will using the wider, older style bow for 3D and small game and the regular riser and limbs for deer and bigger game. It would have been nice to be able to have the stock, scope and trigger be identical with interchangeable risers/limbs. Would a been kinda like switching 40S&W and 357Sig barrels in my Sig P226.
