Black Eagle Executioner ?

Post by georgiaboy »

Thinking about dropping some coin on a dozen. 8)
What do you think of them...good, bad or indifferent. :?:
How much do they weigh, are they worth the investment :?:
I'm not to concerned about swatting flies at fifty yards...minute of critter in real world situations is good for me. But uncle sam owes me a little money back and i thought it would be nice to try something different for a change. All i've ever used are firebolts.
Thanks!! :D :D

I'm shooting 18" with 110gr inserts and a 125gr point. Total weight is about 425gr all up. They shoot really well. Folks taking longer shots seem to benefit from getting them spine matched by Big John or South Shore Archery. For hunting out to 40 or maybe 50 yards, the ones from Danny Miller seem to do just fine.

Thanks for the info!! :D
So your roughly 300grs with the 18" arrow less broad head. The 20" would be a little heavier...just trying to guess which bow to use them on. My Vixen shoots 281fps at 393 grains. A little more weight might push my slick standards through a big hog a little better. 8)

Total tack drivers. I have Danny Miller's and shoot them with 110gr inserts and 100gr points...awesome! Waiting on some Big John's Zombies. I'm a little crazy that way. The executioners are perfect and you'll love them. Far superior.

I think you can go with a lighter insert and tip with a 20" arrow. My preference on the 355 is to keep the broadhead from hanging over the stirrup so I went with the 18". Even with the heavier setup, I'm very happy with the speed and groups.

They are 9 gr per inch. With the exception of the Black Eagle Zombies there's presently nothing better than the Executioners.

I have used 4 brands of carbons in the past, some that gave me fits, some frustrated me, a few broke easy I thought and the Maxima's were not quite stiff enough out the the 380.
I have settled on the Black Eagles that have effectively relieved me of all the past problems with other carbons brands.
I'm stocking up on Zombies so that I do not run out.

I shoot the same 18" BEE's with 92gr brass and 100 gr slick tricks. Started using NuFletch Ignitor lighted nocks towards the end of last year and still flew great with the added weight in the tail. Might do some testing with 125 gr heads this year to increase FOC when using the lighted nocks.
