Matrix 355 impresion's....

Post by Alefone »

I have owned several crossbows so far, about 8 deferent, from Carbon express,Horton,Parker and few older Excalibur's but always went back to my bow and they never hit the spot. This year I wanna go blind hunting so one option for me was crossbow, since it is easier to hunt from a blind with it.I am tall,6'4" so imagine a blind big enough for me to stand up and shoot,I might as well build a shed.....After few months of "research",man I love that word that keeps us guys busy,I went out and purchased Matrix 355.....Where i live we are in deep snow...Next time I can shoot outside is maybe 2 months away but I did make a shooting range for my bow/crossbow im my basement, the length of my house, about 15 yards and for past few weeks I've been shooting ONLY my 355 (remember I always used to go back to my bow) and I can not put it down. For once I am in LOVE with crossbow.I love the way it feels,it looks,it shoots,it smells, the noise it makes (not that bad at all in my opinion),I just love everything about a simple, old fashion but yet so modern and precise peace of hunting equipment that is nothing else than a mean killing machine...

I hope someone that is going through pains of a research stumbles on this thread and reads it,I hope he goes the same way I did cause I know......he will never regret it....I love my 355 and a very happy customer...

Thanks Excalibur....Thanks:)

I have owned darn near all of the Excals.
I used to tell everyone that the Exomag 200 was the Best bow made by Excal.
When I got the Matrix 355, I changed my mind!
After testing the crap out of that bow, it turned out to be the smoothest compact piece of hunting equipment I had. The only thing smoother was my Compound bows.
But, the Matrix 355 grew on me something heavy.
I am very large as well, and that bow fits perfect in my hands and shoulder.
Now however, I have a new endeavor.
I purchased the Matrix 380 and will start all over again! Oh the fun I'm looking forward to! :D
Congrats on the Bow and have fun with all the shootin' !!! :!:

I'm an active vertical bow shooter and compete just about every weekend from now to the fall, but I love my Excal and it was my go to bow last year for hunting I hardly ever took my vertical bow even though I pratice at 50 yards on a regular basis.

The Excals are very addictive I won't be without one. Good Luck and have fun shooting.
