Arrow combination set up

Post by Razor cut »

1) Black Eagle Executioners arrows 18" , 92 gr. brass insert , plastic flat nock, will be changing to a Lumenok. 125gr. Broadhead fixed blade. 2" Blazer vanes

2) Black Eagle Executioners arrows 18" , 110gr. Brass insert, plastic flat nock, will use a lumenok to hunt with, 100gr. Broadhead fixed blade. 2" Blazer vanes

Which one would be the better set up for Matrix 355 or maybe their really isn't
That much of a difference, need some input on this what do you think :?

I just had the very same question, decided to use a lighter insert and heavier 125 grain broadhead just because it has a little larger cutting surface than the same head in 100 grains. I don't think you'll go wrong either way.

I would agree. You can't really go wrong with either setup. I shoot the same arrows and chose the 92 grain insert. Shoots both the 100's and 125's great.

The difference between the two is 5 ft/sec or so. There are 80 gr brass inserts available from BEA.

I don't think you'll notice much of any difference. You'll have a 7gr. difference which at most could be 2fps.

Paul, you're right. Somehow I messed up and didn't read the broadhead weight difference.
