MATRIX 330

Post by ertreecare »

Just recieved this beast today and it wad a snap to put together 10-15 minutes and i was in the barn shooting it. Weather is windy and cold here so the pole barn seemed fit. The bow out if box is loud but bearable and my barn really intensified the sound but it can be quited down this summer when i really start shooting it.the trigger has about 1\8 inch creep wich is barely noticable.i shot all 4 bolts 2 times and all 4 were rubbing each other fighting for the same hole.im 100% amazed at the accuracy of these bows.the bow is balanced nicely and fits my shoulder like a glove.the scope out of box was dead nuts about 3 inches high so it will be real easy to zero it in.i will wait for a nice day outside to sight it in.i highly reccomend this bow

See thread in "other topics" to ease posting pics. Congrats on new bow and welcome. Excals are amazingly accurate.Have fun and keep your fingers below the rail.

Congrats on the new bow and happy shooting!

When you get ready to start tinkering one of the easiest and quickest ways to tone the bow down a bit is to wrap the stirrup in something to help reduce the vibration, rubber electrical splicing tape works very good.
Another good thing is the REDS if you dont already have them.... they don't reduce the noise so much but IMO they help a lot with the vibration, makes for a more pleasant shooting experience. Good luck!

I had a Vortex and loved it and now my stepdad has it, but the Matrix series bows seem to be a step above the older Excals in balance, compactness and less vibration after the shot. I recently just bought a 330 for my wife and I really love it can't wait to break it in some more when the weather warms a bit
