New guy

Post by croa60 »

Hi folks new guy here. After endless hours of research I have decided to either go with a 330 or 355. My question here for everyone would be, do you think it's worth it to spend the extra money for the tact zone scope and 25fps. Mainly hunting white tail and bear. I like the idea of an illuminated scope but not so sure the extra punch if going to be needed for the deer, or even with a black bear with good shot placement.

There are times when an illuminated scope is a real nice thing to have, however that only matters a couple times a year at best, unless your like me and target shoot by the light if the moon.

Why not buy the cheaper one and upgrade to a tact zone down the road if you feel you need one? There is usually one to be found in the trading post.

Welcome i don't like raw fish smell while i am tryin to drink my coffee this mornin. I am of the opinion (mine) 355 Matrix. Reason you use a 400-450gr arrow weight it will drop you down to the 330 fps area. I like fps from 300-360 arrows that work well easy to get wid out alot of accuracy troubles. Only looked n shot thru a tackzone a few times not my choice of optics fer sure!
