My 380 is a BEAST!!!

Post by mike w »

Long story incredibly abbreviated... I FINALLY got to set my replacement scope and sight it in this weekend (first day off in FOREVER that had no Wind allowing for a confident sight in. Had it dialed in in 5 shots. The thing is a straight up BEAST!! Sunk each bolt in my block target (engineered for crossbows) half way deep into the fletchings at 30 yards (granted I am using the arrow lube for easy withdrawl, but still beastly!!!) There is not a doubt in my mind that I will be harvesting each one of my tags this fall and that can't come soon enough. Gonna get a Dual Predator call and maybe give some Coyotes some attention this Summer. I can't be more happy and say thanks enough for everyone that gave me advice when I had scope issues a few months ago and also for the folks the enginnered this instrument of death! (not to be blunt, but my god, look out furries!! :D

I totally believe you on the bolt dissapearing! The sound of the impact was simultaneous with the sound of the string hitting the bumpers. I've been shooting verticals for years... This is such an unbelievably different animal I couldn't accuratly begin to describe it!! I want to snuggle it!! (god did I say that out loud??)

Take it easy Mike! It's going to be a long summer! I think you're going to fine tuned by the time the season rolls around, that's most important, enjoy that time practicing, and getting to know the ins, and outs of your Xbow. They are addicting, so be careful!

Thanks Mike, it is in our family room, I fight with my wife every time she wants to change it! I'm going to loose one day, but I don't know when. She gets to girl up the bedroom all she wants to, I never give her any grief about that.

Thanks fellas! 5 yard shots are alway exciting and a 20 yard track is even better! I once shot a doe about 150 yards behind my house and she ran about 10 yards off my fence! Sometimes we win... Excalibur keep fighting the good fight, that picture is awesome!

Fair enough...

The 380 is no longer to be referred to as a Beast. It shall now be referred to as the Super Beast!! :D

I really wish it wasn't a deluge out there right now, I want to shoot!!!!
