Hi all. I have some land about 35km south of tobermory.Does any one know if there are many turkey up that way? I tried many years ago and there was no sign at all . THANKS

If there's a season in that area then there are birds.

Yep, Tim's right. While an area may have a low number of turkeys there will be no season until there is enough to sustain hunting.

Hi Frodo, theres all kind in Tobermory, Dyers Bay, Miller Lake. Just ask permission a lot of the farmers are pretty good . I live in Tobermory and i'm working in dyers bay and count anywhere from 10 to sometimes as high as 50 every morning for the past month.
