Now the morning of the hunt I have to decide to take either the.
Matrix 355 or Remington 870!!!!!!!!!
Oh boy decision time!!

Never tried with my exo-mag.Wat head do you use.Would swacker work?

I'll be using my Matrix 330, 125gr. Jackhammers. Shot one 3 years ago with a Vortex and 2216 with the same broadhead, 20 yards, frontal shot, he took about three steps and started to get spagetti legs........turkey vittles.

It would be nice to see birds!!!! Was out twice last weekend and not a bird in sight!!!! Not very promising.

I love the thrill of that hunt, the sounds of a roosted bird, and trying to convince him to come to you..
Almost made a mistake this year, was thinking the season started on the 22nd, and I was fully prepared to head out Tuesday morning, even notified the school that my son wouldn't be there that day.. A luck encounter with another hunter yesterday got me back on track. Over anxious I guess.

Might I suggest the 870 on Friday and the 355 on Saturday. No Sunday gun hunting in my area so I use my phoenix on Sundays. Never shot a bird with it yet, that stinks.
