Matrix 380

Post by rmamechanic »

My very first ever even holding a cross bow, but I am now the proud owner of a Matrix 380. Looking forward to sticking a big buck that seems to always disappear during gun season. Any tips on arrows and broadheads will be appreciated. :D

I've had great success and accuracy with Toxic Broadheads 100gr. I highly recommend Black Eagle Arrows. Either the Executioners or the Zombie Layers with 92gr brass inserts. If you're interested you can find info on where to get them. Big John on this forum is a custom arrow builder that a lot of people use, including me, and he makes an awesome finished product that you won't be disappointed with. Welcome and congratulations. :D

I took the same leap of faith and am so happy I did! I'm not qualified to suggest anything at all yet cause I'm pretty green to this equipment but the feedback on here is awesome so I'll be watching your replies and all the other ones on the board. Really an awesome benefit to this bow. Enjoy in the mean time man!

Congrats on the 380, it's an awesome bow!
BTW, Bowhunter Superstore has some Toxic broadheads on sale 15% off if anyone is interested. I haven't shot them but Paul gets incredible accuracy from them.

20" Black Eagle Executioners, Bohning Blazer Vanes, 92 gr.brass insert, 125 gr. Slick trick Magnums. This setup worked wonders on 2 deer last fall out of my matrix 380. Plus i'm able to shoot 1" groups at 60 yds
