Post by mbc4 »

hi guys a while back i had problems when i locktited my bow limbs and dissapater bars ect., ended up drilling them out and using visegrips, will call Dan and see about replacements bolts. but new problem now can't cock bow because trigger is hitting trigger gaurd so it won't cock; was wondering if there is a spacer in the stock around the trigger area that maybe i missplaced! :?

What possibly happened . Was upon removal of stock you bent the aluminum trigger slightly .

no spacers..and you may not be able to see its bent but if the rail is tight to the back of the stock and all the way down then its bent ..

You said you've taken it apart for cleaning, is that the trigger your talking about?
If you replaced one of the original screws on the scope mount that can happen, as they can protrude into the trigger latch cavity. Even if the screws are 1-2mm longer they can jam the trigger. Also check the right screws are in the right holes.

Loctite is good but you must use only BLUE Loctite not the red. However I have no idea what is causing the clearance issue.

How they get bent is when it is removed from the front the lever action pinches and bends the aluminum .
