Finally decided. New M380 on the way!!

Post by JB2010 »

I was gonna go with the 355 but by the time I put everything on it the 380 had I wasn't saving enough to justify not getting the 380.
Woody's had the best price and best service I've dealt with by far. No "attitude" and answered all my questions (which were plentiful) without acting like I was holding him up. He's also polishing the trigger before he sends it out. I'll definitely be a repeat customer with those guys. Hoping for Friday but probably won't see it until Monday.

Congratulations on an awesome bow and welcome to club M380! I'm loving mine and can't wait to break it in in the field. They are scary accurate! :D

I did some minor polishing on my trigger claws but I did that after several hundred shots, so they were already pretty smooth. For polishing a new trigger, go to Boo's website and he has detailed instructions on how to polish the trigger claws. I wouldn't mess with the internals of the trigger group unless you absolutely know what you're doing.

The guy at the bow shop is doing it for free since I bought the bow from him. I also had it done to my old Exomax. It made a lot of difference. The claws are no big deal to do. I was just wondering who else has it done on their 380

Ok I misunderstood. I've dealt with Woody's before, they did me right. :D
I haven't had any trigger work done other than the polishing. I've been pretty happy with the factory trigger.

No problem. I was happy with the one on my Exomax until I had it worked on. The difference was very noticeable.

VM, don't even act like you settled! The 355 is still a bad as$ crossbow in a small package! Plenty of thwack for me!

Congrats on the 380! I would give the stock trigger a chance, you might like it just fine, I do. 8)
