I had booked the day off work on Tuesday to go with our son and his Grade 3 class on a field trip. Vix was texting me a play by play from the time I woke up so I was pretty excited to hear she was having gobbling right from the start. I checked my phone after we got back on the cheese wagon to head back to the school and saw I had missed a message. I was expecting "No birds, heading out for breakfast with Rick" but instead I read "Jake down!". I showed our son and he said, "I want to yell Yahoo! but that's probably not a got idea on the school bus!". We were both quite happy that mom came through again to put some meat in the freezer. :D
