Applied for mine a few weeks ago and sent a riminder to our hunting group. Half of them forgot all about it... LOL!!

Surplus tags are usually sold in October and if you bought a deer tag last year you should receive a MNR brochure sometime in early July with information. Don't expect as many tags after the long and harsh winter of 2014.

FYI - the word out from Ministry is you won't need to worry about additional/surplus seals for 2014 as there will be NONE allotted. :(
