Cigars and birthdays..

Post by strum »

My son is stationed in Texas (Marine) today is his 21st birthday and I saw a post on facebook where one of his buddy's got him a very nice box of fine cigars..
Now mind yall I havn't smoked since 1994 but I told him to save two of those for us when he gets home in august ..
21 years ago I bought some of those "its a boy" cigars from the hospital gift shop and smoked em with all my friends..
its going to be a real honor to smoke one with Richard..he has turned out to be a very fine young man whom I am super proud of..besides he wouldn't smoke one with me at the hospital

Strum I know how you feel . My son is home on leave for 2 weeks (Army) I can't explain how good it feels just to sit in the same room with him .It just seems like yesterday he was sitting their playing with his toys and now , wow. When you have that cigar with him give a big hug too!

Cigars can make you smarter, they create such a stink around you that nobody is going to bother you while you are thinking about getting smarter.
ENJOY!!

There seems to be a connection between your sons birthdate and how many yrs you've been smoke free. Give or take 9mths. I'd venture to guess you are a caring father and congrats on your sons birthday! I hope August comes quickly for you Stan!
