Green paracord (bought in bulk) and snap, leave one attached to each ladder stand. Adjusted so that bow hangs off ground when attached. Be sure to check for squirrel chewing. :?
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.
Why hunt? Simple, it's BASIC. Why breath?!

Same here have been using the same for years.

Add a loop at bottom end to do a loop lock on anything to be lifted.
Make the loop end near ground high enough that when lowered the item does not touch ground.

I Buy it at a local army surplus dealer .
Never seems to wear out , rot , get mildew, abrasion free after years of use,
Soft to handle,

There ya go. Super strong, won't rot. dries fast, olive drab color, use a match on the cut ends and because its nylon it melts so no unraveling. Great stuff
Any rope will get chewed on by critters they like the salt left on the rope from our sweaty hands.

So true. Found that out the hard way when my Vortex took a fall in the predawn darkness after overlooking a squirrel chewed rope. Fell twelve feet -cocked- landed on a limb, bounced some 4 feet. I was mortified~! But not to worry re Excal. It didn't dryfire and the POI didn't change one bit.

That is a Great Idea....
Once it retracts it is quiet and out of the way.
I'm gonna use that idea.

I have to say that's a great idea also :D I ordered the Doyles yesterday so ill be testing and comparing it to a dog leash,. I love the idea of it retracting on its own..no stinky rope hanging. no trying to wind up or unwind a tangled mess..
