Climber Ready!

Post by xcaliber »

Here is the rig, I hunt mostly from it, and love it! Total weight with all my gear, clothes, water, lunch, etc. 36#. I generally walk in close to mile, so as i have said before, I wear almost nothing on the trek in. There is my pull up rope, 50' doubled over to let me climb 25' When I feel a tug off gear, i know I'm up where I like it. The front pouch has my safety vest, I take a bow hanger, Wabi Call, limb saw, and tree tap to start my hanger hole. I always take H.S. Earth Scent wafers up with me, and hang them from the bottom of my stand, they have never failed me! The back pack is from Field Line, lifetime warranty! Tuff as you can get! 8)
Good Luck, looks like I'm hunting Public Land this fall!

Yepper, I'll hunt anywhere. I love this stand, comfortable, quiet, and I feel safe as can be. Sometimes, I put a cinch strap around the rails over thighs, and take a little nap before dawn. Nothing like waking up in paradise!
I'm chomping at the bit buddy!

Thanks Aging! A real pity that Equalizer Tree Stands could not make it through the last recession. There are many good climbers out there, but this one is my baby! I had the original Tree Lounge when I was a bit more tenacious, Cadillac there! Shame about old Bob Hice too.

Nice,,Neat and ready to go/... Been in the trees so much I feel like everything on earth can see me when I'm on the ground, even though I get about as many when I"m grounded..... Ladder stands last couple of years on private land but an old Tree Lounge fan from 1989.... Heavy,, a little more so,, hard to put on tree, not after 25 yrs use,, safe and comfortable, yep, cant be beat,,, ......
good luck this year
