Does your buddy live in Africa? Missing two legs closest to camera. seems to me this will turn out like the ghost pic making the rounds.

that's a savannah cat. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savannah_cat

I know someone who had one about 40lb show up in backyard. they reported it as a juvenile mountain lion. MNR came and looked at pics - savannah cat!

Picture has been modified according to properties of photo file. Steve Wonder could tell you that is no mountain lion. Looks like a MacKenzie leopard 3d target to me. Someone playing games with your buddy.

Bengal house cat. Had one that looked just like that. He was 17 pounds and lanky just like that one.

Don't think anyone is playing games with him , new sd card new camera . He put it out in early july . Told him to face it north --- oh well . Did say when I saw the picture that they are always messed up when there is a Bigfoot , UFO or some kinda kitty kat ....

Have no reason to disbelieve what he is telling me . MNR has photo and is checking it out . Time will tell .

Well, I can tell you all this is no 3D target cause this pic came off of my game cam and NO the image has not been modified !
I have reported the pic to the ministry and they are suppose to get back to me today about further investigation. Could it be a regular house cat ? Maybe ? But with muscle tone like that and the head shape I hardly doubt it ! But who knows ...
I have even braught the pic to a taxidermist who believes it is a juvenile cougar.
Time will tell when I hear from the ministry and I will let you guys know - in a way I do hope it's not a big cat cause that would totally screw my deer season.
