Imagine finding that pic on a cam!!

I'm interested in hearing what the ministry may say, but in most cases they seem to be of little help.

It would have been cool to have a chance to get some paw prints from it

Well, no response from MNR today ! I am hoping tomorrow they will contact me an I will be more then willing to bring them out to where the pic was taken. I looked for tracks but that area wich the cam looks over is very sandie soil and with any rain prints are washed away - including deer and turkey wich I also have pics of on my cam.
One thing that does come to mind when I was out checking the card was that my wife " out of all people " noticed some scat near my stand that I could not identify ! I for one hope it is just a savannah cat or other small species of cat in the pic cause I put a lot of money and time setting up this years spot " food plot, salt, and other miscellaneous " items to attract and hold deer - I got a good taste of tag soup that last 2 years and missed out on most of my hunting season due to no time off from work and from what I see on the pics from this year things are looking promising.
Either way I will be up in the area again hopefully Monday to check pics again and have moved the cam to capture better pics that won't be sun faded out - maybe it will show up again ?

Sorry boys that's a domestic cat I get them on my camera's all the time and everywhere. In the middle of bushes in SWO and then see them in the middle of no where up on the French River.

I would be interested to see what MNR has to say... we had damage to my MIL car last week in the East End of Elgin County.....OPP said cougar...an retires MNr said dog.... I will agree it looked like a dog track in the dirt.....but tha is mega damage for a dog. What ever it was also left 5 cats dead.....we wished we had a trail cam in the yard.
I have tried to attach a picture but it says the 'the board attachment quota has been reached'?

Talked to mnr today and there response was that it is some kind of exotic cat " savannah or possible ocelot " that they figure has escaped from its land owner !
This is all the information thy were willing to give me at this time other then it wasn't a normal sized cat, said they would contact me again next week with more information ???

it's not a target nor is it a domestic cat.. we have had multiple sightings and pics of savannah cats and even a couple mountain lions in the area we are in ( bothwell, alvinston area).. there are a couple out there, sure as hell hope i never see one in my area though...

Cougars do not have spots nor rings on tail. FYI - there are some cougars around - THEY HAVE GPS CHIPS in them so be advised - your freezer not good place to keep one if you get the drift.
