Talked to John this morning and it will be a long weekend for the family because on Monday they go and talk it out with the doc. Send a prayer or two that way over the next few days. The family sure needs it. :(

12 years ago, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Turned out that it was into the lymph nodes. The cancer in the breast as well as a # of lymph nodes were removed. Chemo 8x bi-weekly vs 6x every 3 weeks followed by 40 radiation treatments. 11 years gone by, no recurrence. She's now 65 , excellent health, walks 4-5 mi a day(4+mph pace) and does yoga. She's in better health than before the cancer.

We will both pray for the two of you. As you take care of her, I won't mind a little longer wait for arrows.

I join all the others in expressions of support.

Steve, good for you. That's a particularly uplifting and meaningful way of offering encouragement.
