Big John and family:

I am lying in bed on vacation in Maine and have just checked in for the 1st time in 3 weeks and read this about your bride... First I can understand the shock of your diagnosis.... Having lived through it with my daughter Angelica.

Second, I know you and your family are experiencing a really rough time right now... It's very normal... Now is the time when the words , "taking one day at a time"... Truly come into focus...and family and friends mean more than ever.

And thirdly, The Lord gives us all problems and trials.... He equips us to handle them and gives us peace that passes all understanding if we reach out and put our cares upon Him.

My prayer is that you and your family find the peace in Jesus.

I pray, that our Lord gives the wisdom to the doctors to guide them in what needs to be done....and then in the end He is glorified...

I will keep your family in my prayers not only today but in the weeks to come...
