Yes Sir! Ready for Fall season. Guns all sighted in,,crossbow needs alittle tweaking but usable. Our squirrel season starts in the morning. And the weather man is predicting beginning middle of next week, heat wave for couple of weeks in the high 90's of which we haven't seen all year. I like the weather being cool where it is right now. But, yeppers,,ready to rock and roll. Tease away! :D

was out shooting the helium tonight out to 40 yards.every time i pulled the bow back i was thinking about your arm. i drew an archery bull tag and my buddy a cow tag. he is going up 10 days early to bait some bears so i hope we draw a little blood this year.

Still in the planning stage as far as deer hunting.
I'm thinking of going back to the gravity feeder (barrel holds 100# of corn) this year as it seems like the hanging feeder (dumped corn twice a day) just didn't keep the deer coming back like a 24/7 "all you can eat" buffet.
Also, it didn't attract the bucks like the old gravity feeder did.
The farm next to the property I hunt failed to get any crops planted this year (leased crop fields), so the deer might really work a feeder this year.

Squirrel season opens the first of September and I'll do a little scouting then.

Hopefully the VA doctors will get my hip pain under control sometime soon. I go for more x-rays and to get fitted with a back brace (they think a pinched nerve in my spine is causing my pain) next week, then a steroid shot in the spine in the (near I hope) future. At least it's no problem to set in a stand or the blind. The problem is the walk in and out - walk 100 yards, rest 5 minutes, repeat. Takes me about half an hour to do what should be a 5 minute walk, but if I do shoot a deer I can always use the farmer's tractor to haul it out. :D

Like those calls, that Fall Leaves could be labeled, "the call heard 'round the world"! Or at least that traveled 'round the world.
(Long story, but I shipped the call from Ohio to Ontario and it went through Malaysia.)
