Thinking about a new Matrix 380

I bought a new Equinox 2 years ago, and have been thinking about upgrading to the new 380. I'm 6-5 with a long arm reach,and the Equinox fits me perfect length wise,and just wondering how the 380 will fit since it's 4 inches shorter. I just like the ideal of the shorter limbs on the 380, as I hunt from a Summit Tree stand, and think it would give me more room. Can any of you guys with a long arm reach tell me how the 380 shoulders since it's 4 inches shorter?

How does the matrix like the 20 inch arrows? I have several of the 20 inch fire bolts and,and use the 175 gr. Slick Trick broad heads. I've got some 150 gr. S.T. on back order. I also just had Dave at Wyvern creations make me some custom B.E.E. with aluminum inserts because I use the heavy broad heads to try in my Equinox also,and don't want to have to start buying new arrows if the 20 inch will shoot good out of the 380.

I'm 6'4" and liked my Equinox for fit but I like my M380 better. You can cut down your 20's to 18" or use your existing 20's no problem, your choice.

I just got my B.E.E. that I had Dave make me. They look great. He put the 2in. Boing Blazers on them. I wonder how much it will change my poi. Over the 4in. that the firebolts have on them? I've never shot any other arrow in my equinox than the firebolt.

I just weighed my b.e.e. and with the 175gr. S.T. they are about 15gr. lighter, so I should gain a few fps. They should pattern a little better than the firebolts. I'll find out tomorrow.

Im 6'4" and I have no problems with the size of my 380 I kinda wish they offered it with a standard stock in addition to the thumb hole but its a great bow all around

I like the thumb hole stock, I just would like to shoulder a Matrix before buying one. None of the bow shops around here carry the Excalibur brand crossbows.

I am only 6"2" but have a 30 inch draw on a compound bow. Remember you can buy a Excal butt stock extension for the Matrix...sold my Exomax and went with the 380. You will love it for its more compact size,accuracy,and speed.

I'm not near that tall so I can't comment on that but as for arrows I'm shooting 20" BE out of mine very accurate! If you get to handle the 380 and think its too short you could go with the 405.

Well just got off the phone with Danny Miller. I have a new Matrix 380, his Baby Bumpers,2 Flemish strings,and upgraded to the Leupold Crossbones scope. It'll be shipped out today or tomorrow.
