Learning God's will not mine

Post by kd8jgu »

Starting Saturday morning with 2 does and 3 fawns
Sunday 100 yards from lease had 6 does standing in road
Monday had a large bodied cull buck 6 paces from blind 5 minutes before sunrise
This morning they started road work in front of lease (will be only a week)
As you figure I want to rush using my first Texas tag
So this week set up more peanut butter jars
(if you do not know what this is ask and I will do a post)
May my aim be true and my arrow fly straight

Swing till ya hit.
Road work should not bother them too bad.
Have seen one between construction barrels before.
Maybe the workers take a rain day in there somewhere...
Keep at it.

I'll ask. What's a peanut butter jar? I know peanut butter comes in jars but I think you're referring to something else.

I like it! But I'd probably feed more 'coons than deer with that trick. Still, worth a try and cheap to boot!

That was my experience with it. I got a ton of pictures of fat raccoons.

In MN. you would attract bear, coon and who knows what else besides the CO and a day in court. It would be considered baiting, a big no-no here.
