I'm a meat hunter. 1st mature deer I see I shoot, if it's brown it's down. Got a mature doe at first light this morning. What makes this so special is it's my first bow deer in about 5 years. Two years ago I needed a double bypass and was sick for about 3 years before that. Last year I got a "shotgun deer" Thanks to Excalibur for my 20 year old Exomag, that is still the best crossbow I've ever owned. Bought it new from Bill at the factory and have never had a regret.

Awesome Dave! First mature deer, first light, first day of the season, first class! Priceless! Congratulations!
Very nice. Only issue with getting it done on day one is that you have to wait 364 days until you can shoot another one. Don't believe there are any additional deer tags this year in most areas.
