We draw one tag every year and get two from the outfitter we hunt with. This is a fly in hunt on a lake where we are only ones to hunt it every year. We take the camp for entire archery season and stay only until we fill tags and do our yearly maintenance etc.

Sounds like a great spot . Where we hunt it's by tve I found an old road grow in years ago and we have been cleaning the trail to get ayv within about a 3rd of a mile from a beaver pond . We then trim a walk trail to the pond we can walk in in the dark and Clem all sticks off so mo noise . Like to consider other hunters so try and stay away and have let guys know where we hunt only to have them walk right past our bikes and walk down the trail and stand on the beaver pond. My stand is another 15 min threw the bush on a trail I've cleaned . We had 2 bulls and 2 cows around most of the week but always hang up . For some reason the bulls are not aggressive in this area and will avoid a fight if they can. Any advice on getting them pissed so they will commit . I would love to have one at 5 yards . I did shot one at 29 but can't get them closer . Thanks munch and I will post some pics of the moose that come to visit at night
