Arrow Wraps...

Post by Drew »

I'm looking for a reflective wrap for my arrows but I only want a 1" wide relfective wrap between the nock and the fletching. I've seen this on some arrows but cannot find a supplier. Does anyone know where I can find this?

I don't know about 1" reflective wrap. I've got the 4"-5" reflective wrap that i cut into 1" strips. Not sure where to buy it though as I got mine from a friend. If you just Google search reflective arrow wraps I'm sure you'll find it. I know I've seen it.

Here is the best one I've found to date.

I like reflective before and after the vane.
The FAQ. drop down menu has a lot helpful topics.
Don't be afraid to send them an email if still not sure of what you want.
Great to deal with.

I ordered mine direct from Onestringer. I got 9" long and 1 1/8" wide material. It's 3 strips per sheet and IIRC you get 4 sheets in a pack and it was around $12 or $13 US. It's enough to do a BUNCH of arrows if all you want is 1" wrap behind the vanes. The 1 1/8" width is almost a perfect fit to wrap the outside of a BE Executioner, Zombie, Firebolt or Diablo shaft (I've wrapped all four of those). I lay a square across it crossways and cut 3 strips at a time 1" wide, perfect fit with just a few hundredths of overlap.

I ordered my white reflective arrow wraps from ebay. One dozen 7"x1.25" for $5.00 shipped. Now it's $6.00, but they add in an extra 2 or 3 wraps.

I cut all of them down to 3.5"x1.125" which are perfect for my Easton 2219 aluminum shafts. This way my count has doubled, so I glue on my 2" Bohning Blazer Vanes. When I need to re-fletch, just peel and start over no fuss.

Has anyone taken the zombie logo wrap off their arrows and if so, how?

I think it's a printed logo, not really a wrap. I've heard it comes off pretty easy with acetone. It's pretty soft, my target is scrubbing mine off pretty quick.

I've taken mine off. Lots of acetone and paper towel and it comes off no problem.

Onestringer wraps are great to deal with. I get mine from them. Ordered a dozen last time they sent 2 dozen for price of a dozen. They're nice people too. Don't be afraid to call or email them with any questions.

Is it just me or don't wraps make arrows VERY hard to pull out of block targets ? They look great but I really hate fighting the target for my arrow ! Lol
